need help

freelancer multiplayer doesn't work... there is a constant message:connecting to global server... and no server appears. i have tried to log on directly to a server over LAN but it won't display those connections either. if anyone has any idea, i am open for suggestions.thx

Do you have Windows Vista on your PC? Sounds like exactly the same problem as on my Laptop...

i have had the mod installed but it probably wasn't installed properly.
i have managed to get it working, thanks for help and btw i do have windows vista and it is on a laptop lol

Any special way you got it to work?
Because I tried ages to get it to work... now I have Linux on it as a second operating system, not the best solution, as you can imagine ;)

A lot of Vista users have problems with Freelancer, and a lot found a lot of solutions... which don't work for me ;)

for vista and my laptop, i use another version of FLMM
you can find one here

Well done for sorting it.

I run it on Vista and it was a nightmare to get running in the first place.
