Eagle Utopia is moving to a dynamic economy using the very latest in server technologies. Unmodded players can enjoy the enriched environment we offer, though we do recommend to download and install the latest version of our EU DeathMatch mod to fully enjoy all features. In order to see prizes change while in game, you will need to latest DM mod. Changes/updates in prizes on bases are shown AFTER you dock that base, eventually you will be able to see prizes in game and on base as they really are at that time though but for now this is restricted to the base you docked for testing purposes. Because we're in a testing phase, not all prizes are dynamic. As of this writing only gold prizes fluctuate, but more commodities will be added over time. We hope this new feat will offer new challenges and feedback will be much appreciated

Got quite a bit of trucking done today, along with a few fellow truckers... price changes are visible even when flying in space so you can keep track of them when heading to your intended drop off point. Next to gold, diamonds also vary according to demand and supply. Because all looks good so far I'll be adding a few more commodities over the weekend

Ok , i have a suggestion regarding trade . Dynamic economy is great stuff , but now , we come to situation that even few already most traded ( or i can say only traded ) goods , are reduced . For example , engines that were in past times most traded , now it can be bought for ~ 450 and sell it for ~ 980 or in some cases cant be bought cause there its gone ( like it happened with gold one time ). My suggestion is to maybe get those prices for other goods lil bit higher so we can get a lot bigger choice of commodities for trading . Dynamic economy made things better of course , but as we could see , its "live" now and changing things in the way we didnt predict ( well i certanly didnt ) .

I second that to try it out. Maybe i can get into trading again. I dont trade coz of the fluctuating prices problem. A couple of runs and there is no good profits anymore. This idea might save me from deleting my train xD ;D

Yes I also agree with this.Lift the prices of now uncommon commodities up a bit cause right now we can trade with just 5 or 6 of them and maybe new trade runs can be discovered aswell ;D

The dynamic economy will be tweaked according to feed back given, for now we'll try to easy up the impact a single trade has on the overall economy before we try altering the base price of other goods. The latter however is something that needs looking into as well and more of a long term thing atm.

IMHO , impact and hole concept of DE is good and it shouldnt be changed - if you would raise up a lil bit prices of other goods then it really wouldnt be such a problem , maybe even it wouldnt be noticed . Making other goods profitable would expand and make more interesting ( who knows - maybe even complicated ;D ) trading / DE . I hope it wouldnt have to take so much time for this idea

Can be TRADE for unlawfull faction clans be alowed in smugling contraband? This way to open all sirius for trade and for more risky and slow trade in those space to be more awarded! If we switching to FL roleplay - this is one step that will make look like that. Login out... END Still no answer, but I doubt with posted vote - small chances that any of us wouldnt like this like before was! With cruise speed reduced, and Dynamic Economy that make u change routes - closing no TL systems for Big Weasels is anecessary - even they cant dock there! Login out... END

Last few days I didn't saw any price affecting from trade. Seems like DE do not work more. Is anybody know what happen?

I just plied the trade lanes between Cambridge and Denver hauling Luxury Food to Denver and Optronics back to Denver in my train. I made the trip to Denver 3 times. Under normal Dynamic Economy operation, that number of trips in a train should have considerably effected the price of the commodities. There was no effect The Dynamic Economy is not operating as it should
