The practice of applying clan factions to clan tagged cargo ships (trains, small and large transports, etc.) combined with the restrictions traditionally applied to such ships has resulted in certain clans access to trade routes being further restricted.
System ownership no longer has a credits reward. Therefore, those clans are left with no ready means of collecting credits for clan use.
Should the current practice be modified?

I feel clan tagged cargo ships should be granted a more inert faction where needed. Some "natural" enemies are required to keep the trade role interesting, but trade should be possible with the majority of destinations.

I agree with ya Nos . Now trading has a lot boundrings - factions , no trade in non tl systems , few items for trading etc . Ok , I understand whole faction thing , but trading should remain untouched by it . In my case , I have 2-3 destination for real trade and only if the prices were not changed So , IMO , traders should be as they were , with some , as Nos said , natural enemies

NO trader has to be attached to any clan faction, nor NO faction has to be attached to any clan tag whatsoever!!!!!

My vote is YES Clan resources should be earned with tagged char only(war reasons and I belive someone even mentioned word LAME) I offered a proposal some time ago to open all sistems for cargo ships or raiseing commoditie prices but i didn't get any response from admins,I know U guys are busy,but still

All taged chars need to carry chosen faction affiliation (by me)! Still not just u Anubis, we all still wait question to be reconsidered about opening all systems - but that will lead to 2 more planets able to dock and more possible ways to escape pirates (but I doubt with speed reduced) Prices of some commoditys that makes some faction-clans forbiden to trade make worth with other stuff (maybe riskier and time-lnger) For all this to be balanced for a start we need good MATH claculations and after test to make some adjustments. We started some changes that r not finished yet. This will be main thing to be solved right way. Enough from me... Login out... END

This is a no brainer, clan shiups should wear clan tags... period. Tags on EU are translated to clan factions, and its the latter than makes trading cumbersome for the larger ships. This is why I believe the wording in the poll question is rather poorly chosen, cause it should have asked for ways improve trading for the large clan tagged ships. I propose we instead gather a few ideas to improve trade specifically for trains and transports wearing clan tags whilst retaining their clan faction. Once we have a few of those we can start a new poll perhaps. A viable solution imo would be to allow mooring on more, if not all bases, full stop

Yup , and my NO was in this trading system that is functional . With those proposed changes ( opening systems , more bases/planets to dock , raising prices for all commodities with dynamic economy ) would make trading "normal" with clan taggs ;D

Dunno how hard is for me and chances to keep cargo to enter Kusary and reach planet that lets says I will be able to dock (only planet green). Didnt tested yet! But its one of the solutions Login out... END
