Then head to the Kwangju System, where Eagle Utopia proudly presents... Missions against Nomads are currently available on all bases in the Kwangju System. They will not show a faction when you look at the mission details. We still need to do some tweaking of the settings, as the intent is that these missions should not be too easy, but we are getting there. Once we are happy with the settings, expect to see these missions in a few more systems too.

pepole the server is almost dead ... if u wanna players atention ....... u must realy do some changes to make players wanna come to EU ... For Example: 1: put back the tarding bounes 2: add more ships (all freelance ship : ideas .... Anubis . Osires . and otheer like the other BSs Rhilands and criusers ...etc) 3: git whiled .... and new systems not only for clans .....add systems with many clans basys in each it will cose war .... thats what we need ;D 4: add new guns upgreads .... engens .... and and server bauntyHunt 5: give small transport acces to other systems and small bases (whin some 1 wanna buy an AT he wanna fast mony and easy so its not its problem its can make mony fater than train nop its idea to make faster mony..... 6: make missions with more mony to force players to have and need more cash ..... iam in BSG ..... its over moded but its idea to be like that whin i sow the seires .... mony no importans nither the firepower the idea the players still like it for what it is..... what u need to keep the game prety and funny and in the same time chalenging and to lit the new players wanna stay in ther here is an idea from BSG .... new player come to BSG so me with a MKIII battleStar whin he sow the size and firepower he wanated like it i toled him how to start up and making cash missions ...... he liked it and now he have 1 BS a traider ship he never gits sik of traiding routs and fighter for missions and PVPs .... regaurdless for my dark secret ..... MUAHAHAHAHA whin some 1 traid in EU .... its hard to make cash ... whith dinamick eckonomy .... we like it yah buy it make it hard to gather cash players have no modeve to gather cash to buy Bs not even for a small or large transport most of the server its easy to by traider ship buy hard to buy BS ""Full Equeped"" .................no hard feeling .... EU was # 1 server for me but now do what u can do and whin u done iam ready to steel players from other servers ..... hoping from u fast respond

I don't know how extensive changes would i like to see, I like the the server the way it is now but I would like to see some more role-play... I don't know why the old role-playing system was canceled but all I heard about it sounds great... At least i would like to see my trader free from attacks from other factions, why not allow traders to be Zoners? I bought the trader character to get some rest from missions and now I'm stuck to a few routes with it 'cos most of my enemies have civil ships with nomad guns, add that to the slow speed and maneuverability of my Large Transport and I can safely say that I have spent 40 mil on it for more frustration than relaxation oh and the autopilot has something against me, he tends to try to kill me while docking XD

Something that must be considered when suggesting changes for the server: It must remain "vanilla", i.e., new players without the mod must be able to connect and play. ... Keeping this in mind ... Trade bonuses could be returned. Adding the single player ships which are not currently player flyable would be possible ... Osiris is somewhat questionable. Multiple clans in a system is just a matter of the clan members gathering in the same system. Most of the "extra" systems already have multiple NPC faction bases. New guns, new (non-single player) ships, and new engines would require a mod only server. Increasing the base access list for some of the larger trade ships would not be a problem. Missions ... are you suggesting higher level missions, or just more credits paid for the same levels? ========================================================== Role play: I agree that the current role play scheme is not ideal. The old role play scheme was also not ideal. To be honest, I have no ideas about a model for "the ideal" role play scheme. IMO ... As for your autopilot problems, I have had a few instances in which my Train or my Battleship was guided into a bit of unplanned planet diving. Frankly though, I seldom have problems if I disable the autopilot until the auto docking program takes charge. This response may seem to some to be of a negative nature, it is not so intended. I appreciate all suggestions. But I will point out problems of which I am aware with any suggestion provided.

I have a suggestion for traders, Make them tag their ship for a trader like we have to do for BS and train, and let them be zoners. That way clans or non clan members can still hunt them, while giving them a break from NPC's. or boost the shield capacity for transports by 50% to at least give them a fighting chance to get away, and 1 more thing give the AT more than 2 class 5 guns. Just some thoughts

Personally, I feel allowing "traders" the Zoner faction rep would not be a good, or game consistent option. As I said, in the environment of the game being a trader should be a dangerous pursuit.
Requiring a trader tag would be an option, but would be difficult to enforce unless it were an automatic addition to the character name for trade ships (provided by FLAC.) And ... that brings up another consideration:
FLAC modifications are not a player side mod (downloadable mod,) and are the exclusive province of Eagle. Player reputations fall under FLAC. Role play changes fall under FLAC. Eagle is quite busy with real life concerns and may not have time to do the work required.
Making all, or any, single player ships available for player use is a player side mod. But, any such coding is very labor intensive and requires extensive testing and planning prior to release. At the moment, the server only has two server approved mod writers available (Eagle and Xardas) and they are both quite busy with real life concerns.
