Decided to try it now but cant get it to work just says invalid command. I added it to the dnamicassemblies.xml like this

hmm that should be fine aslong as the dll is in C:\Documents and Settings\MonkeyAdmin\My Documents\FLAntiCheat\plugins\
try closing flac, starting it again and then check the debug log for JoinServer and it should say wether it loaded right or not, post the log here if you find anything
the command that should be seen in the help section is setjoinmessage

okay so no longer getting a failed to load plugin but it still doesnt appear in the /help list and if i try the command it tells me its invalid.

Restart FLAC after adding plug ins, for they will not be loaded otherwise

oops my bad there was an extra < in the dynamicassemblies.xml
one question if i want a second plugin added do i just do it like this

Thats correct yes, also make sure by opening the xml file in the internet explorer (=default if double clicking) after you've made changes to it. That way you can easilly verify if you have forgotten < signs etc. as IE will start moaning if the format is invalid

good stuff, once some of your guys have tried it tell me how its working or if you want any changes, youll find the plugin creates new text file in everyones mp account folder (if they use it) and the files will be named by their playerfile name, so if there playerfile is called 04-0d801569.fl the text file created will be called 04-0d801569.fl.txt and it will store the join message text in text format. i may chaange it at some point so it uses one xml per account to set the join messages

I havent spoken to anyone yet due to being at work during peak times, but some of the admins have told me the players like it and they have seen some quite comical join messages.
I also added the shout command which the admins also like.
Tiger did enquire about coloured and different sized banner messages, dunno if you had anything planned for that.

Some people are using this to talk Universe wide by F1 in and out. Thsy are giving advanced warning of some RP intentions.
Are the plans for Universe chat without the f1 still on the to do?

hmm that is a problem isnt it, ok id suggest you remove the plugin for now and ill work something out to prevent its misuse
